The Detroit Bulldog Rescue is a not-for-profit organization made up of a team of volunteers throughout Southeast Michigan that takes in English Bulldogs who are surrendered by their owners, picked up from shelters or are strays. This organization has been helping Bulldogs in need for over 25 years.

We are the only Bulldog Rescue in Southeastern Michigan that is affiliated with the Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network.

While in our loving foster homes, medical issues are addressed, all dogs are spayed/neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations, and temperaments evaluated before being placed into a forever home. Our goal is to find the right people for the dogs in need of homes.

In 2009 alone, Detroit Bulldog Rescue re-homed over 60 dogs in this area.
